The Therapeutic Garment Kit Includes:
One (1) Chamber Panel (12 in. wide and 36 in. long ) with 16 pockets (6 in wide and 4.5 long).
Two (2) Shoulder Straps with permanently attached elastic straps (5 inches wide and 21.5 inches long) each strap has 4 pockets( 3.5 in wide and 5 in long).
Two (2) Waist Straps with permanently attached elastic straps (5 inches wide and 12.5 inches long) each strap has 2 pockets ( 3.5 in wide and 5 in long).
Two (2) Elastic Extension Shoulder Straps
Two (2) Elastic Extension Waist Straps
Thirty Six (36) Ice-Packs
Thirty Six (36) Plastic Bags (give you the option to use dry heat or moist heat)
Two (2) Non-Elastic Straps.
We purchase the ice/heat packs from The Ice Pack Store, because the packs are:(1) High performance; (2) Longer lasting thaw time, the ice packs will generally stay frozen from 24-36 hours in an insulated container. At room temperature, about 3-4 hours. Most importantly, they will stay frozen longer than ice. (3) Won’t leak or release water when thawed. (4) Reusable HUNDREDS of times. (5) Flexible when frozen. (6) Can be micro waved to created heat packs. (7) Safe & non-toxic. May be used to comply with OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200. For more information about the packs click here:
Precautions When Using Heat and Ice:
Do not use cold packs or heat for sports injury pain relief over areas of skin that are in poor condition. Over areas of skin with poor sensation to heat or cold. Over areas of the body with known poor circulation. If you have diabetes. In the presence of infection. Also, do not use ice packs on the left shoulder if you have a heart condition.
